Ahhh, with tonight's episode, we have reached the halfway point in the first series of Doctor Who here in the US. For those new to the series, what do you think? I hope you're enjoying it!! :)

U.S.A. ratings: Unfortunately, Dalek experienced the lowest ratings so far in the series, with a 1.17 household rating with an average viewing audience of 1.3 million viewers. However, Outpost Gallifrey points out that last weekend was a holiday weekend, which could explain the drop in viewership. (I know I didn't get the chance to watch it until Sunday, since I was busy with Easter related stuff all weekend)

Got an episode somewhere on tape that hasn't been released on dvd or video yet? Turn it in to the BBC, and you could win a full size replica Dalek!!! The BBC is currently looking for missing episodes of the earlier Doctor Who stories (hey, I'd really like to see Power of the Daleks if anyone has that episode lying around collecting dust! ;) ) Click here to read more about the story-there is also a link to the Blue Peter site which has all the details of the hunt. :)

Syfy Portal has a couple of interesting articles about the second series of Doctor Who:

Enter the New-New Doctor!
(WARNING: Major spoilers for the episode New Earth) Read at your own risk!

The Surreal Experience of Playing Doctor Who
This article wasn't too bad on the spoilers, although there is one paragraph that I wish I hadn't read...dunno if it means anything or not, but I though I'd warn you just in case. It's the paragraph right after he talks about working with Elisabeth Sladen-it's just the one paragraph-I dont' know how you read, but if you can ignore a paragraph in the middle of an article-enjoy! (or, if you don't care about spoilers-read it anyway!! Just don't say I didn't warn ya. LOL. ;) )
