If you haven't already heard the news-Torchwood is crossing the pond! BBC America has obtained the first-run rights to air the spin-off. It will be a part of BBCA's 'Supernatural Saturday'. Also included in the 'Supernatural Saturday' programming block are Hex, Jekyll, Life on Mars, and Doctor Who (most likely the second series). It is rumored that this new schedule could come out as early as this summer.
Still no word on whether the SciFi Channel will obtain second-run rights to the spin-off. If they do, it'll probably be a watered down version of the show. For more on the story, check out the SyFy Portal.
More very exciting news! Doctor Who's third series premiere brought in over 8 million viewers in the U.K.!! 8.2 million!! Yay!
