According to Outpost Gallifrey [see August 1st news], Ariel, the BBC's in-house newsletter, released information suggesting the identity of the second Doctor Who spin-off. Sarah Jane Investigates will bring back Elisabeth Sladen as Sarah Jane Smith. Not much else has been said about the series-like when this will happen (if the rumors turn out to be true) or whether or not it will also bring back K-9 (who has his own series currently in development.) As a Sarah Jane Smith fan, I kind of like the idea of her having her own series...it sounds interesting...just as long as they do a good job!!!
