Marcon starts today!!!

Wondering what's Who-related at Marcon this year? Well, for starters...

Friday, 5:30 pm we have All the Boys (and All the Girls) Love Sarah Jane in Fairfield.

also Friday, a live comedic performance by the Dottore Who group (aka, The Confused Greenies) on Friday at 7pm
(not sure where, though-sorry about that!)

Saturday, 10:00 am The Wibbly-Wobbly, Timey-Wimey Trivia Quiz in Franklin A.

Saturday, 11:30 am Doctor Who: Life Beyond the Crack in Union B

Saturday, 1:00 pm Match Game Regeneration in Madison

and

Sunday, 11:30 am Doctor Whose Line is it Anyway

Also, there will be a special treat for Who fans in the main video room at 10:59 pm on Saturday! :-)

I am hoping to attend all of them-even the Saturday 10am panel (I have the overnight shift in the video room-must find alternate times for sleep... ;) ).

If anyone knows where the Confused Greenies performance is Friday night, please leave a comment, as I probably will not have time to update this post before I leave for Marcon.

The Doctor's Wife at Grandview...

Well, not the Doctor's wife, but the showing of. ;)

Hey everyone! Once again, the lovely folks at the Grandview Theatre will be showing the next new episode of the current season, 'The Doctor's Wife', Saturday night starting at 9pm.


Admission is free and open to the public. This is also a family-friendly event, so grab the kids and come see the episode penned by author Neil Gaiman!!! :)

As always, to help with the costs of losing the ticket sales, we need to be kind and buy our food and drink from the concession stand. They have a full range of fountain drinks, popcorn, candy, and also a large selection of bottled beer and wine to choose from. They also offer pizza, subs, and salads. Tonight, one of our own will be featured on the popular KSAV internet show, "Dave White Presents."

Don Krouskop, author of the new book, The Wibbly-Wobbly, Timey-Wimey Trivia Quiz : An Unauthorized Doctor Who Companion was interviewed by author and radio personality Wes Britton, host of "Dave White Presents" The talked about Krouskop's new book and discussed the long history and bright future of the greatest TV series of all time!

Grandview Showing of 'the Curse of the Black Spot'

May Steering Meeting

Just a reminder that our May steering meeting will be this Thursday, from 7-9 pm at the Giant Eagle Market District at Kingsdale in Upper Arlington! ( http://www.marketdistrict.com).

Less than a month until Marcon! Are you ready? :) Stop on by if you want to be involved in the convention or the video room. Unfortunately, the time for staff registration has passed, but we could always use some volunteers! :)
