Social Meeting/Marcon picnic, Torchwood

Hey everyone! Don't forget the Marcon Picnic tomorrow!! Starting at 9:00 and running until about 6pm at Highbanks Metro Park. Please bring a side dish and/or dessert to share. It also might be wise to bring something to drink (usually Marcon provides this with leftovers from the ConSuite, but there weren't any this year).

Also, Torchwood: Children of Earth begins this Monday starting at 9pm on BBC America!! And for those who were worried how much would be cut from the original BBC broadcast-you've got nothing to worry about! BBC America is planning on airing the mini-series uncut! (all episodes will be in a 75 minute timeslot, to allow for commercials)

You'll have three chances to watch/record it: 9pm, 12am, and 2:30am (all times Eastern). Just don't wait for the re-broadcast at 8pm-unfortunately those showings will only be 60 min.

Change of movie plans!

Due to the midnight showing of the new Harry Potter movie being sold out last night, we've decided to try to make the 7pm showing at Lennox. It was so out on 23 screens-so if you haven't already done so- it might be a good idea to buy your tickets in advance!

Movie Night!

First of all, welcome to our newest member, Hayley! (also known as another Romana! Romana II-and no, I'm not just saying that-she said so herself! ;)) Hope you have fun here!

Also, for anyone interested, we will be meeting at Lennox tonight for the midnight premiere of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. You can purchase your ticket ahead of time at http://amctheatres.com. , the $1 fee is waived if you have a moviewatcher card.
