Hi everyone! This is just a little reminder that this Saturday, February 21st, is the DWC Family Night Out at the Blue Jackets game. The game starts at 7 at Nationwide Arena.
A couple of notes: First-Andrew has created a poll for the event-if you haven't already done so, please respond to the poll to let him know you are coming-the sooner, the better, because as Marica pointed out, the weekend games have become rather popular. Andrew has also sent an email through the Yahoo list, and has asked that you respond to that as well to let him know if you are bringing anyone.
Second: Marcia has posted a few tibits for Blue Jackets game first-timers. (Thanks, Marica!!!)
If you have any questions, feel free to contact Andrew. Also, keep an eye one the list, just in case the game is a sell-out and we need a back up plan. ;)
Thanks!

January meeting
Don't forget our January monthly meeting is tomorrow, Jan. 17th, from 5-9pm at John's. Andrew will be bringing some leftovers from the New Years party (pop, Christmas candy, etc.), and John will have the usual hummus plus crackers. If anyone would like to bring cold cuts, hamburgers, or hot dogs-that would be awesome!!
Let's watch some of the best bits of the latest in British sci-fi, fantasy, and genre comedy. ALSO we will be watching Ruby In The Smoke with Billie Piper and the brand new 11th Doctor Matt Smith. Bring along some snacks and sides and enjoy Doctor Who from the comfort of John's house. Join us for fun, food, and chat!
Also, John has posted a flyer about the digital transition next month. WOSU is looking for volunteers to help answer questions about the transition, etc. John's got all the details and will discuss it at the meeting.
As always, if you have any questions, feel free to contact Andrew!! :)

Steering meeting tonight!
Hi everyone!
I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! I've only been back to work for a few days-still trying to dig myself out of the backup work! ;) I'm sorry I missed the holiday party and the trip to WhoNA. Hope you guys had a great time! :) Believe it or not, I'm still planning on posting some of the pics I took from Chicago Tardis-I know it's been awhile, but I didn't have the time to post them before I went on my Christmas vacation.
On to business!! Our January steering meeting is tonight, from 7-9pm at the Rusty Bucket on Lane Avenue. Join us for good food and great conversation. We will be talking about our latest news and events, deciding our future and just hanging out! Contact Andrew if you have any questions. Everyone is invited-hope to see you there!
Also, don't forget our monthly meeting is Saturday, January 17th. I'll be posting more details later. :)

December Steering Meeting, plus a couple of notes
Hey everyone!
Don't forget-our monthly steering meeting is tonight! 7-9pm at Tommy's on Lane Avenue.
If you like listening to Doctor Who on the radio, BBC Radio 7 is replaying some of Paul McGann's earlier shows with India Fisher as his companion Charley. (Thanks, Mreen, for the link!) I'm not sure why the site lists Sylvester McCoy and Bonnie Langford as actors, but I think that is in error.
I made it back from Chicago Tardis! I had an awesome time! I've got pictures-hopefully I'll have them posted here before I head up to MN in a couple of weeks. I will post some here, and more in my flickr account (I'll post the link when I've uploaded them.)

First of all, don't forget-tomorrow is the last day you can purchase memberships for Chicago TARDIS at a discount! After the 15th, prices will go up to the 'at-the-door' level. You can purchase memberships online.
The Children in Need special aired today in the U.K.-with a Doctor Who bit! :)
Sunday, the next episode in the Paul McGann radio series airs on Radio 7:
Grand Theft Cosmos
(Special thanks to Mreen for keeping us updated with the radio broadcasts, and reminding us about the Children in Need special!!)
Monday, the next episode of the Sarah Jane Adventures airs in the U.K. on BBC One!
Mark of the Berserker, part 2
Speaking of SJA, Sarah-Jane.tv has an article about the next issue of DWM, #402-featuring Nicholas Courtney and Elisabeth Sladen on the cover. (aww, don't they look cute?) ;)
Speaking of spinoffs-if you were wondering what ever happened to the K-9 spinoff, Sarah-Jane.tv has a brief update about that too.

club updates! television! radio!
Well, I must have been half aleep when I wrote my last post (which is odd, because it was during my lunch break, and I didn't receive any snoring complaints from my cowokers... ;) ). I mentioned that the All Saints Day Halloween party was this Saturday, when in fact, it is not. The party is next Saturday, November 1st. Sorry about that!
I knew I forgot something in my last post-if you haven't had a chance to check out the Yahoo list lately, John posted a new poll for those planning on going to Chicago Tardis next month. Need someone to share a room with? Check out the poll!
Don't forget! The Sarah Jane Adventures are all new on BBC One!

TAFN-everyone have a great weekend!!!
