November Steering meeting-change of venue!

Hi everyone!

This is just a reminder to folks that our monthly steering meeting is this Thursday, November 4th, from 7 to 9 pm!

This month Andrew would like to try something fun and different, so our meeting will be at the Giant Eagle Market District at Kingsdale in Upper Arlington. (This is only a few blocks from our usual locale.)

Market District at Kingsdale offers plenty of food options including a fresh Crépe station, a Rosti station, a Indian Food station, normal Salad Bar, and Hot food bar, as well as a made-to-order Pizzaria. All plates are only 5 or 6 dollars. Cold drinks as well as wine glasses, and anything you would normally find in a grocery store to eat and drink are available.

With seating for 400, we should have no trouble finding a spot! Let's all meet upstairs where there are nice tables, and couches. :)

There is plenty to talk about including the newest episodes of Sarah Jane Adventures, with special appearance of the Doctor.

See you all there!

September Steering meeting-change of venue

Hi everyone!

Don't forget our monthly steering meeting is still on tonight! Due to the football traffic from the Ohio State game, we have decided to meet at a different location this month.

Come on over to the Hong Kong Buffet on Henderson Road tonight starting at 7pm and join us for an evening of fun. :)

Hope to see you there!

How about that Finale? How would you sum up Matt Smith's first season as the Doctor? (please feel free to leave your opinions in the comments-just play nice! ;) Also, try to refrain from spoilers, just in case... ) For those following along on BBC America, don't forget the next episode of Doctor Who, The Lodger, will air on July 12th.

This is a friendly reminder that our July steering meeting will be tomorrow, July 1st from 7-9 pm at the Tommy's on Lane. Hope to see you there!!

Marcon con-com wrap up meeting

If you were a part of the staff for Marcon 45, the final wrap up meeting is this Sunday, June 27, from 1:00-9:00 pm at the Hyatt Regency. This is the meeting that we will be voting for next year's chair and co-chair.

Who gets to vote? If you paid your staff fee and worked your hours, you are eligible to vote. Our very own Andrew is running as Shell's co-chair. Good luck, Andrew!!!

The Pandorica Open's Party

Watch the Season Finale of Doctor Who with us! We will be sure to watch the lead up episodes, as well as anything else that's pertinent (interviews, Confidentials, News Shows, etc...)

The fun starts at Andrew's around 4 pm. Bring a dish or snack, and respond on the group what you're bringing so we can all plan around it. :)

See you there!!

(Andrew's contact info, as well as directions, can be found in the Yahoo list.)
